Overview

This ATX motherboard uses the Intel Z890 chipset and LGA 1851 socket for 2nd generation Core Ultra processors. It suits content creators and gamers who need high-speed storage and connectivity.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 14+1+2 phase power design with dual 8-pin CPU power connectors. VRM and M.2 heatsinks manage thermals. A built-in I/O shield simplifies installation in ATX cases measuring 305 by 244 mm.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept DDR5 up to 8800 MT/s with XMP 3.0 profiles in dual-channel mode. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at x16 or splits to x8/x8. Two additional PCIe 4.0 x16 slots operate at x4 electrical.

Storage and Connectivity

Four M.2 sockets provide one CPU-linked PCIe 5.0 x4 drive, one CPU-linked PCIe 4.0 x4 drive, and two chipset-linked PCIe 4.0 x4 drives. Four SATA 6G ports are also available.
