Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z890 chipset for LGA 1851 Core Ultra processors. It suits gamers and daily users who need high-speed storage, USB4 connectivity, and robust cooling headers.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 16+1+1+1+1 phase design with Dr. MOS for the VCore and GT rails. Two 8-pin ATX12V connectors feed the CPU. Full-coverage VRM heatsinks and dedicated M.2 heatsinks keep thermals in check under load.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept DDR5 up to 256 GB at 8,666 MT/s with XMP 3.0 profiles. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at x16 electrically. A second PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and a PCIe 4.0 x1 slot provide additional add-in card options.

Storage and Connectivity

Four M.2 sockets include one CPU-attached PCIe 5.0 x4 drive and three PCIe 4.0 x4 drives. Four SATA 6G ports remain for legacy drives. Rear I/O delivers two USB4 ports at 40 Gbit/s, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, 2.5 GbE LAN, and Realtek ALC897 audio with S/PDIF.

Cooling and Internal Headers

Eight 4-pin PWM headers cover the CPU fan, CPU optional fan, AIO pump, and five chassis fans. Internal headers include one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, front panel audio, front panel, and a thermal sensor header.
