Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z790 chipset for 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core processors. It targets mainstream builders who want strong power delivery, fast storage options and modern connectivity.

Power Delivery and PCB

The board uses a 14+1+1 phase Dr.MOS design that supplies clean current to the CPU. A six-layer PCB with two-ounce copper inner layers improves signal integrity and helps keep temperatures low during overclocking.

Memory and Storage

Four DDR5 DIMM slots accept up to 192 GB and support both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles. A protection circuit reduces the risk of damaging modules during installation. Four M.2 slots each run at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds, and eight SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available.

Expansion and Graphics

The primary PCIe x16 slot is wired for PCIe 5.0 and uses surface-mount technology for better signal quality. A reinforced steel bracket secures heavy graphics cards. A second x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0, and two x1 slots provide additional expansion.

Connectivity and Extras

Networking includes a Dragon 2.5 GbE controller and Wi-Fi 6E on the 6 GHz band. Rear I/O offers HDMI, DisplayPort, one USB 3.1 Type-C, one USB 3.1 Type-A and two USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Internal headers include one USB 3.2 Type-C, two USB 3.0, one 12 V RGB and three 5 V addressable RGB connectors. Nahimic audio software enhances playback and microphone clarity.
