Overview

This ATX motherboard uses the AMD B650 chipset and AM5 socket for Ryzen 7000 series processors. It supports DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 storage, and robust power delivery for gaming and overclocking.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 12+2 phase VRM design with DIGI+ VRM controls for precise voltage and frequency management. BIOS Flashback and a Clear CMOS button simplify recovery from failed overclocks. Most AM4 CPU coolers mount directly to the AM5 socket.

Memory and Storage

Four DIMM slots support up to 128 GB of DDR5 memory at speeds up to 6400 MT/s when overclocked. Three M.2 slots provide one PCIe 5.0 x4 connection and two PCIe 4.0 x4 connections, alongside four SATA 6 Gbps ports.

Connectivity

Rear I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C, six USB 3.1 Type-A, and four USB 2.0 Type-A ports. Video output uses one HDMI and one DisplayPort. Networking features 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.

Expansion and Cooling

Expansion slots include one PCIe 4.0 x16, one PCIe 4.0 x1, one PCIe 3.0 x16, and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Seven 4-pin PWM fan headers and four RGB headers (one 3-pin 5V digital, three 4-pin 12V) handle cooling and lighting.
