Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the Intel Z890 chipset for LGA 1851 processors. It suits content creators and gamers who need high-speed storage, fast memory, and modern I/O.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a 14+1+2 phase VRM cooled by heatsinks and draws CPU power through two 8-pin connectors. An integrated I/O shield simplifies installation in standard ATX cases measuring 305 by 244 mm.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept DDR5 up to 8800 MT/s via XMP 3.0 for a maximum of 256 GB. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at x16 or splits to x8/x8, while two additional slots provide PCIe 4.0 x4 electrical connectivity.

Storage and Connectivity

Four M.2 sockets include one CPU-attached PCIe 5.0 x4 drive and three PCIe 4.0 x4 drives split between CPU and chipset. Four SATA 6G ports remain available. Rear USB totals one USB4, two USB 3.1 Gen 2, three USB 3.0, and four USB 2.0 ports alongside DisplayPort and 2.5 GbE LAN.

Cooling and Extras

M.2 heatsinks cover each slot. Six 4-pin headers serve the CPU fan, CPU optional fan, AIO pump, and three chassis fans. Internal headers provide one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, one USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB 2.0, front audio, power, reset, and Q-Flash Plus buttons.
