Overview

This 20-core desktop processor uses Intel's Arrow Lake architecture with eight performance cores and twelve efficiency cores. It fits LGA 1851 motherboards on the Intel 800 series chipset and ships without a cooler.

Hybrid Core Architecture

The chip combines eight Lion Cove performance cores and twelve Skymont efficiency cores for a total of twenty threads. Intel Thread Director assigns workloads to the appropriate core type. Maximum turbo reaches 5.5 GHz on a single P-core and 4.6 GHz on E-cores.

Memory and Platform

The dual-channel memory controller supports DDR5 UDIMM up to 6400 MT/s at stock speeds. The platform provides twenty PCIe 5.0 lanes and four PCIe 4.0 lanes for graphics and storage. Compatibility is limited to Intel 800 series motherboards with the LGA 1851 socket.

Connectivity and AI

An on-die NPU accelerates neural-network workloads. The CPU enables Thunderbolt 5 for up to 120 Gbit/s transfers and supports Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4 through compatible motherboard implementations.

The retail box contains the processor only. No thermal solution is included, so a separate cooler rated for at least the 65 W base power and up to 182 W maximum turbo power must be purchased.
