Overview

This Intel M.2 module adds Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 to compatible laptops and PCs. It supports dual-band operation, 2x2 MU-MIMO, and modern security standards.

Design and Interface

The module uses an M.2 A-E key form factor measuring 22 by 30 by 2.4 millimeters. It connects via PCI Express for Wi-Fi and USB for Bluetooth. The card weighs 2.83 grams and operates from 0 to 80 degrees Celsius.

Wireless Performance

Supports IEEE 802.11ax with a maximum link rate of 2400 megabits per second. Dual-band 2x2 MU-MIMO allows simultaneous streams. OFDMA enables efficient multi-user transmission. Compatible with 802.11a, b, g, n, ac, and ax standards.

Security and Management

Implements WPA3, WPA2, 64-bit and 128-bit WEP, TKIP, AES-CCMP, and AES-GCMP. Supports enterprise authentication methods including EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, and PEAP. Compatible with Intel vPro technology for remote management.

Compatibility

Supported on Windows 10 64-bit, Linux, and ChromeOS. Requires an available M.2 A-E key slot with PCIe and USB signaling. Antenna connectors are required for wireless operation.
