Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD X870 chipset for Ryzen 9000 series processors. It supports up to 256GB of DDR5 memory and includes PCIe 5.0 slots, USB4, and integrated Wi-Fi.

Power Design and Cooling

A 17-phase VRM delivers stable current for high clock speeds on Ryzen 9000 processors. Dedicated heatsinks cover the M.2 slots to maintain SSD performance under load. Six 4-pin PWM headers provide flexible fan and pump control.

Memory and Expansion

Four DDR5 DIMM slots accept up to 256GB at speeds reaching 8000 MT/s when overclocked. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot connects directly to the CPU for graphics cards. A second x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4 from the chipset.

Storage and Rear I/O

Three M.2 sockets support 2280 drives, with the top slot wired for PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds. Four SATA 6Gbps ports add traditional storage options. The rear panel includes two USB4 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, four USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1, 2.5G LAN, and audio jacks.

Features and Accessories

BIOS Flashback allows firmware updates without a CPU installed. Integrated Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth connect via the included dual-band antennas. The package includes two SATA cables and a thermistor cable for temperature monitoring.
