Overview

This ATX motherboard pairs the AMD X870 chipset with an AM5 socket for Ryzen 9000 series processors. It targets gamers and builders who need high-speed storage, USB4 connectivity, and robust power delivery.

Power Design and Cooling

A 20-phase VRM supplies stable current for sustained high clock rates. Heatsinks cover the VRM and all three M.2 slots. A rear I/O shield is integrated. The board includes a backplate for additional rigidity.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept up to 192 GB of DDR5 in dual-channel mode. AMD EXPO profiles are supported. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at x16 or x8/x8 from the CPU. Two chipset-driven PCIe 3.0 x16 slots operate at x1 electrical.

Storage Connectivity

Three M.2 sockets support 2280, 2580, 22110, and 25110 form factors. One connects via CPU PCIe 5.0 x4, two via chipset PCIe 4.0 at x4 and x2. Four SATA 6 Gbps ports are also available.

Rear I/O and Networking

External ports include two USB4 Type-C at 40 Gbit/s, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 2.1, 2.5 GbE LAN, three audio jacks, two antenna connectors, a BIOS Flashback button, and a reset button.
