Overview

This ATX motherboard pairs the Intel Z790 chipset with an LGA 1700 socket for 12th, 13th, and 14th Gen Core processors. It supports DDR5 memory up to 7200 MHz and includes four M.2 slots for fast storage.

Power and Memory

The 16+1 phase VRM delivers stable power for high-end Intel Core processors. Four DDR5 slots run at 4800 MHz stock and reach 7200 MHz with overclocking, supporting up to 256 GB in dual-channel mode.

Expansion and Storage

A single PCIe 5.0 x16 slot handles next-generation graphics cards. Two additional PCIe 3.0 x16 slots and one x1 slot provide extra expansion. Four M.2 sockets accept PCIe 4.0 x4 drives up to 22110 length, with one slot also supporting SATA SSDs.

Connectivity

The rear I/O panel includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port at 20 Gbps, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports (two Type-A, one Type-C), and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Video outputs comprise HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. Networking uses an Intel I225-V 2.5 Gb LAN controller and an Intel Wi-Fi 6E module with Bluetooth 5.2.

Cooling and Lighting

Seven 4-pin PWM headers cover the CPU, a dedicated pump, and five chassis fans. RGB control is provided through three 5 V ARGB headers and one 12 V RGB header. The board features integrated RGB illumination and TUF Gaming styling in black and silver.
