Overview

An ATX motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for AM5 Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors. It supports DDR5 memory up to 8200 MT/s, PCIe 5.0 graphics and storage, and includes Wi-Fi 7 with Bluetooth 5.4.

Design and Power Delivery

The board uses a black and white ATX layout measuring 304.8 mm by 243.8 mm. CPU power is supplied through two 8-pin connectors. Heatsinks cover the VRM area and each M.2 slot, and a rear I/O backplate is included.

Memory and Expansion

Four DIMM slots accept UDIMM or CUDIMM modules up to 256 GB total. Standard speed is 5600 MT/s with overclocked support to 8200 MT/s via AMD EXPO. Expansion includes one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot running at x4, and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots.

Storage and Connectivity

Three M.2 sockets provide one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 connections alongside four SATA 6 Gbps ports. Rear I/O offers two USB 3.1 Type-C, one USB 3.1 Type-A, one USB 3.0 Type-A, four USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI, and a 5 Gbps LAN port. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are integrated.

Internal Headers and Features

Internal connectors include one USB 3.1 Type-C header, two USB 3.0 headers, two USB 2.0 headers, front panel audio, SPI TPM, and four RGB headers (one 12 V 4-pin, three 5 V 3-pin). Six 4-pin PWM fan headers support air or liquid cooling. BIOS Flashback and Clear CMOS buttons aid recovery.
