Overview

This kit adds a hot-swap bay for a single 3.5-inch SATA drive to select SilverStone Fortress and Kublai chassis. It includes the necessary power and data cables for installation.

Design and Compatibility

The module fits into a standard 3.5-inch drive bay on SilverStone Fortress FT01 and Kublai KL01, KL02, and KL03 chassis. It accepts a single 3.5-inch SATA hard drive for hot-swap operation.

Cable Lengths and Connections

A 150mm power cable splits into a Molex 4-pin plug and socket for daisy-chaining. A separate 500mm SATA data cable connects the drive to the motherboard.

Installation

Insert the module into the drive bay and connect the included cables to the power supply and motherboard. The drive then slides into the front of the module for tool-free swapping.
