Overview

This adapter lets you install an M.2 NVMe SSD using a standard PCIe 3.0 x4 expansion slot. It fits most desktop cases with its low-profile metal bracket.

Design and Build

The card uses a black printed circuit board and a sturdy metal bracket. At 21.7 mm tall, it clears low-profile chassis. The board measures 148 mm long and 120 mm wide.

Performance and Use

Four PCIe 3.0 lanes deliver full NVMe bandwidth for compatible drives. It works with any motherboard that has a free x4, x8, or x16 slot. No software drivers are needed.

Compatibility and Connectivity

The M.2 socket accepts key-M modules. The edge connector plugs into a standard PCIe x4 slot. SATA-based M.2 drives are not supported.

What Is Included

The package contains the adapter card and a mounting screw for securing the M.2 module. Cables or additional brackets are not supplied.
